Irwin Park Elementary School (1997, 1998, 2001, 2002)
 Irwin Park is delighted and honoured to once again be a part of "The Magic of Christmas". Music, in particular singing is a well established tradition at our school. Besides our school choir (made up of students from Grade 3 through 7) we have 3 in-school choirs. Everyone at Irwin Park has the opportunity to share in the fun and fulfillment of singing. Last year our school performed 8 mini operas as part of partnership with Vancouver Opera in a program called Music!Words!Opera! Combining drama, music composition and story building we hope to extend this program into the primary divisions of our school. |
